The analyst plans to build a large long position in SpaceX (SPCX) by the end of 2027 but is not entering a position yet due to low tradable float and upcoming float increase.
Tradable float is currently tiny; earnings and tranche unlock in mid-August will increase float and may cause a dip; waiting for better entry conditions before taking a position.
That $SPCX post-IPO pump feels like it was months ago?! Down 24% since last Tuesday... SpaceX could be one of my largest positions by the end of 2027. But not looking to take positions yet: Especially since the tradable float is so tiny rn. Also important to note that earnings in mid-Aug coincides w/ the first 70 day tranche being unlocked. So float should ~2x by August compounded by potential earnings dip if markets get spooked.
