Earnings tier list: SNDK/GOOGL (S-tier), AMD/PLTR/META/ARM (A-tier). SNDK +31.4% YTD best performer. Apple +8.3% benefiting from AI/Siri features. Amazon -6.3% underperforming on macro headwinds.
1-month post-earnings returns: SNDK +31.4% (S), AMD +28.1% (A), ARM +85.0%, AAPL +8.3% (via AI inclusion), AMZN -6.3% (macro/rates), CRWV -16.0%. Positive overall read-through on earnings and environment.
My earnings tier list: 1 month returns: S Tier: $SNDK: +31.4% $GOOGL: -7.2% (due to $80B capital raise) A Tier: $AMD: +28.1% $PLTR: +3.6% $META: +3.1% $ARM: +85.0% B Tier: $AMZN: -6.3% $MSFT: +1.9% C Tier: $AAPL: +8.3% $MELI: -12.6% F Tier: $CRWV: -16.0% Directionally, overall I'd say it's a positive read-through of earnings + broader environment. Small sample size ofc. Apple being up 8.3% is the most surprising one tbh. Probably because they're getting included in the AI trade now via new Siri features / AI agents running on Apple hardware. Amazon being down 6.3% is quite abnormal too. Macro headwinds e.g. higher rates + some institutional selling are the factors that come to mind. CoreWeave...lol.
