The analyst is bearish on CRWV due to its heavy debt and cash burn, favoring NBIS as a better financial model and premier Neocloud.
CRWV borrows heavily and burns cash faster than it can raise debt, leaving no agility even after refinancing; NBIS secures upfront payments from hyperscalers and uses cheaper capital, making it financially superior.
I've been saying that $CRWV's debt profile is an issue. Now WSJ report that $NBIS are better than $CRWV because of their debt. The CoreWeave model is basically: borrow heavily today + pray backlog converts perfectly tomorrow...all to service their debt wall. Then layer in their cash burn, you realise that they're basically burning cash faster than they can print debt. Zero room to be agile at all. Even post-refinancing in Q1. vs. Nebius: get hyperscalers to pay upfront for ~60% of the build, then use cheaper/convertible capital for the rest. Surely it's clear by now that Nebius are the premier Neocloud? Even just from a financials POV?
